Review of research into teachers’ beliefs at home and abroad

Teachers’ belief is an important research field in teacher education research, and related practices have been increasing recent years. This paper summarizes sorts out the on foreign language teachers’ beliefs primary secondary schools at home abroad from four aspects: definition of concept beliefs, influencing factors relationship between teaching practices, professional development. Specifically, are views, attitudes, psychological tendencies that teachers hold for truth about teaching-related process. Its formation change mainly affected by personal background social environment factors; behaviors influence each other, but they not always consistent; Teacher development driving force behind changes beliefs.
